Series Launch: The Open Generation from Barna

The brief:

The Open Generation report is a first-of-its-kind international research study helping church leaders understand teenagers around the world. Our task was to join a team of writers and stakeholders in developing a data narrative of today’s global teens and their view on Jesus, the Bible, and Justice.

The clip:

“Simply put, teens want the person behind the pulpit to bring these issues up. Teens want to see more teaching on the sources of injustice, what their faith says about justice, and the Biblical mandate to care for those experiencing injustice. Though addressing injustice may begin with core religious teachings, only one in ten teens (11%) believe churches and leaders should do this through evangelism. In fact, helping people become Christians is the last choice for these teens.”

The entire Open Generation series is available for purchase now at Barna.com.
